Anatomic Coloured: Pre-coloured blocks for even faster and more accurate work

New Products

Anatomic Coloured, a new high-end zirconia material, is another highly useful innovation by Zirkonzahn that helps improve the economics of dental laboratories. The Anatomic Coloured blocks come already pre-coloured in various shades.

A characterizing feature of Anatomic Coloured is its full-coverage homogeneous shade, resulting from colourants added to the zirconia as early as during the first stages of production. In the conventional staining method, the metal oxides used for characterizing the restoration is applied to the zirconia framework in an extra step before sintering, using the dipping or brush-on technique. Anatomic Coloured renders this extra step unnecessary. Positive effects include increased efficiency and a uniform shade, as differences in characterization due to the dental technician's individual work habits can be avoided.

Final characterization of restorations made of Anatomic Coloured is done with stains or ceramic build-up. The uniform shade is an excellent basis for a highly aesthetic restoration.

Anatomic Coloured is available in the 16 VITA shades and can be characterized with ICE Zirkon Stains, ICE Zirkon Stains Prettau® and ICE Zirkon Stains 3D by Enrico Steger.

Indications for Anatomic Coloured range from single crowns to full-arch 14-unit bridges. Fully contoured frameworks/restorations can also be realised, since the material meets the highest aesthetic standards even without a ceramic veneer.
