Nobel Biocare has continued the rollout of new materials and options for its NobelProcera CAD/CAM platform, introducing single crowns and bridges up to 6-units in Base Metal Alloy Cobalt Chromium.
This new material is a metal certified for CAD/CAM milling and represents an excellent alternative in cases where the clinical situation sets limits for the application of Zirconia frameworks. NobelProcera Base Metal Alloy Cobalt Chromium is biocompatible and now offers a new standard for cement-retained prosthetic metal restorations for any indication in the mouth.
Crowns and bridges are designed and ordered using the intuitive NobelProcera Software with advanced prosthetics tools to ensure optimum veneering support. At a click of the button, orders are sent to highly advanced centralized industrial plants where these frameworks are milled and returned back to the laboratory as Precision Milled Restorations, exhibiting qualities of exceptional fit, strength and surface finish. The frameworks are then easily veneered and sent to the clinician where both conventional or temporary cementation is possible.
NobelProcera Crowns and Bridges Base Metal Cobalt Chromium are 5-axis milled from a biocompatible monobloc of Base Metal Alloy Cobalt Chromium certified for CAD/CAM milling. This material contains no Nickel, Cadmium, Beryllium, or Iron.
