Dental Axess offers CAD/CAM solution for new Straumann Variobase

Dental Axess 3Shape customers, in cooperation with Straumann, can now design 2-piece customised abutments using the Straumann® Variobase™ abutment connection. Dental Axess has integrated an original Straumann library with its 3Shape Dental System supporting Straumann Bone Level and Tissue Level implant systems. This enables customers to design 2–piece abutments using an original Straumann gauranteed titanium base with a customised zirconia abutment.

This solution offers a broad range of prosthetic possibilities and flexibility with guaranteed precision and reliability with an original Straumann connection. The pre-manufactured titanium interface is designed for precise connection and optimal force distribution. The customised restoration can be manufactured through validated selected milling centres in Australia or laboratory milling machines.
