exocad releases Partial Designer 2.4

The exocad Partial CAD is the latest update to the Partial Denture design software. With release 2.4 The PartialCAD module has been significantly improved for the Plovdiv release and is available now for.

Its features - amongst others - include extended control and new options to meet your fit preferences, along with many usability improvements and additional tools for customised shapes of posts.

Further highlights of the new PartialCAD release include:

• Add independent control to the tightness of fit to the margin of the major connector;
• Correctly identify free-formed clasp-rests and allow independent control of offset;
• Ability to add optional blockout offset to imported parts;
• Add lossless watertight fit to imported parts for hybrid workflows;
• Add conical scaling control to Add Post tool;
• Add ability to replace;
• Add Post cylinder with a user defined file;
• Allow for more advanced customisation of user interface;
• Advanced fault prevention, logging and statistics collection;
• Add ability to store custom views (F11);
• Support for Japanese characters (to support a future UI translation to Japanese); and
• Fix issues running multiple instances (not recommended but now possible).
