New press system from GC

GC Initial LiSi Press is a revolutionary new pressable glass ceramic combining unparalleled strength and exceptional aesthetics. Best of all, it is faster to process, it's optimised to be used with GC Initial™ LiSi veneering ceramic and leaves virtually no reaction layer, making your laboratory more productive.

Using equally dispersed lithium disilicate micro-crystals to fill the entire glass matrix, rather than using traditional larger size crystals results in the ultimate combination of strength (500 Mpa) and aesthetics. This makes it perfectly suitable for all different types of dental restorations. Most importantly, this technology allows the product to be very stable without distortion and drop in value, even after multiple firings.

Alongside the ingots, GC's LiSi PressVest provides secure investing with a high flow and a longer working time. It is a phosphate bonded investment for press ceramic techniques offering an easier, faster and safer process. Hydrofluoric acid treatment and alumina blasting are no longer required for the removal of the reaction layer. Providing stable handling under various temperature conditions, it is so robust, it provides a strong investment ring so you can effectively use wider volume, but also making it easy to divest. Available in 100 sachets of 60 grams, with a 900 ml liquid sold separately. For even better results, spray GC LiSi PressVest SR liquid inside the crown to inhibit the reaction layer even more!
