Zirkonzahn launches new coloured biocompatible high-performance resins

With new TECNO MED and TECNO MED MINERAL, Zirkonzahn now offers another metal-free alternative to conventional dental restorations.

Due to their premium material properties, the two thermoplastic high-performance resins are especially suitable for the manufacture of permanent tooth replacements. Their high plaque resistance and excellent bio-compatibility make them an ideal material for the treatment of allergy patients.

TECNO MED and TECNO MED MINERAL are non-abrasive and absolutely free of discolouration. The partially crystalline arrangement of their molecular chains, results in an excellent physical-chemical resistance.

Further, the materials can be easily sterilized and they are flexible, similar to the human bone tissue.

While TECNO MED is specifically designed for the manufacture of friction copings on telescopic crowns or attachments, TECNO MED MINERAL, thanks to the inclusion of ceramic reinforcement, has an even higher bending strength and is even more resistant to fracture and can therefore be applied, in particular, for the manufacture of various support structures.
